No. PDF Studio has no accounts and no sign-in. Install it and start working right away.

Yes, PDF Studio is free to download and use, with ads. The optional Premium upgrade removes ads and export limits. It's available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

PDF Studio is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android phones on Google Play. For the best experience, keep the app and your phone's operating system up to date.

Most tools work fully offline because they run on your phone: merge, split, reorder, rotate, compress, watermark, page numbers, images to PDF, scanning, signing and reading files.

A few tools need an internet connection because they're processed on our secure server: PDF to Word, Office to PDF, PDF to images, OCR (make searchable), and adding or removing a password. In the app these are marked “Online”.

1. Open PDF Studio and tap Scan a document.
2. Allow camera access when asked.
3. Point the camera at the page. The app detects the edges for you.
4. Add more pages if you need them, then save your PDF.

Tap Merge PDFs, choose your files, arrange them in the order you want, and tap merge. Everything happens on your device.

Use Split PDF. Pick the file, select the page range you need, and PDF Studio creates a new PDF with just those pages. To drop or rearrange pages instead, use Organise pages.

Open Sign, draw your signature once, then place and resize it on any page. Your signature is saved on your device so you can reuse it.

PDFs aren't designed to be edited, so complex layouts (multiple columns, unusual fonts, scanned pages) may shift slightly when converted. For scanned documents, run Make text searchable (OCR) first, then convert. If a specific file converts badly, email us and we'll take a look.

• Check that you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi works best for large files).
• Try a smaller file, or compress it first.
• Close and reopen the app, then try again.

If it still fails, contact us and tell us which tool you used and roughly how large the file was.

When a tool finishes, you can share or save the result. On iPhone you can save to the Files app or share to any app. On Android you can save to your device storage or share it. Exported images can be saved to your photo gallery.

Camera is used only to scan pages. Photos is used to pick images for Images to PDF and to save exported pages. The app only asks when you use those features, and everything else works if you say no. You can change permissions anytime in your phone's Settings.

Premium removes all ads, lifts export limits and unlocks every tool. Choose monthly or yearly billing.

1. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy Premium.
2. Open PDF Studio and go to Settings.
3. Tap Restore purchases.

Premium is linked to your store account, not to a PDF Studio account, so restoring works on a new phone too, as long as it's the same platform. If it still doesn't work, email us with your store receipt.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so you cancel them in your store account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

You keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Payments are processed by Apple and Google, and they handle refunds directly. We have no access to your payment details.

Purchases are tied to the store you bought from. A subscription bought on the App Store works on your Apple devices, and one bought on Google Play works on your Android devices.

No. Most tools run entirely on your phone and never upload anything. For the few online tools, the file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed and deleted automatically within about 30 minutes. We never open, read, keep or share the contents of your files.

PDF Studio has no accounts, so there's no profile to delete. Your documents live on your device, and deleting the app removes its local data. Files sent to online tools are deleted automatically. You can also reset your advertising identifier in your phone's settings. For any other request, email us.

In regions where it's required, such as the EEA and UK, you can change your ad consent choice anytime from the app's Settings. Upgrading to Premium removes ads entirely.
